El Barco, nestled in Santa Ana, CA, has rapidly become a local gem in the Mexican dining scene. As a vibrant establishment, it seamlessly blends remarkable cuisine with a lively atmosphere. Diners rave about the Fish Chicharrones, described as "to die for" by first-time visitor Oscar V. The tacos, particularly the asada tacos, received high praise from Adriana Alvarez, highlighting the expertly cooked meat paired with a welcoming vibe created by the décor and music.
Inclusively, the restaurant's seating accommodates larger groups, making it perfect for celebrations, as Karen Rodriguez discovered during her sister's birthday gathering. The cocktails, especially the margaritas, complement the rich flavors of the menu, which also features favorites like Mar Y Tierra and hearty empanadas.
Furthermore, the friendly and attentive staff, led by servers like Luis, enhances the overall dining experience. With a consistent record of excellence underscored by Branden Luxander's numerous visits, El Barco emerges as a top-notch destination. Whether you crave seafood or traditional Mexican dishes, this exquisite venue promises to leave a lasting impression with every visit.

Super aesthetic mexican restaurant. The asada tacos were really good and the meat was cooked well. The music is always a vibe and there is lots of seating for big party’s. Luis our server was super friendly and welcoming, and provided great recommendations as to what to order. OVR: 10/10

They took over The Old Ship. They now have a Mariscos place with a bar. They have bomb micheladas and mixed drinks. The bartender is very friendly and can help you pick out your drink. Highly recommend.
